Solidworks Draftsperson (Australian Client – Day Shift)

About the role

Our client, an Australian‑based operation, is seeking an experienced SolidWorks Draftsperson to join a plant‑design team in Pampanga, Philippines. The role focuses on designing bins, head bins and chutes for industrial plants and translating concepts into detailed fabrication drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Design bins, head bins and chutes from concept through to detailed fabrication drawings.
• Create accurate fabrication and layout drawings using SolidWorks.
• Integrate drawings with overall plant layout, collaborating with engineers and other draftspeople.
• Verify fit, tolerance and buildability of designs before release to fabrication.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of drafting experience, preferably in industrial plant or bulk materials handling.
• Demonstrated experience designing bins, head bins and chutes.
• Background in mining, quarrying, processing, manufacturing or similar heavy‑industrial environments (mining a plus).
• Ability to read and work from plant layouts.

Required skills

• SolidWorks (production drafting environment).
• Drafting and creation of fabrication drawings.
