About the role
The HR Benefits Associate is responsible for reviewing and processing employee loan applications accurately, timely, and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This role supports employees across various loan types, ensuring a smooth and customer‑focused experience.
Key responsibilities
- Review and evaluate employee loan applications (salary, car, housing, medical, emergency, etc.) and verify supporting documents and approvals.
- Encode and update loan information in HR and payroll systems, coordinating with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor loan turnaround times to meet service level agreements and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare operational and management reports on loan volume, processing times, approval rates, and exceptions.
- Analyze loan data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and provide data‑driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Support testing, documentation, and implementation of automation or policy enhancements.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding loan status, requirements, and policies.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of employee loan programs, eligibility rules, and basic financial concepts.
- Preferably experience in HR operations, benefits administration, loan processing, or a similar transactional role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- Willingness to be assigned in Makati City.
