Human Resources Specialist

About the role

We are hiring an HR Specialist to support a US‑based client, working out of our Makati office on a night shift schedule. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is well‑versed in US labor regulations and can independently manage a broad range of HR functions in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment – job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Administer employee benefits programs and handle employee inquiries with accuracy and care.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives to support employee growth.
• Collaborate with management on workforce planning and organizational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of HR operations experience, with familiarity in US labor regulations, statutory processes, and talent acquisition.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, employment laws, and workforce management best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional certification such as SHRM‑CP, PHR, or equivalent is a plus.

Required skills
