Quality Management System Specialist

About the role

The Quality Management System Specialist supports the maintenance and continuous improvement of Advanced Energy’s Quality Management System (QMS). This role ensures ongoing certification to current and future standards by assisting with implementation, monitoring compliance, and closing management‑system actions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Internal Audit Plan aligned with management system standards.
• Facilitate training sessions for Internal Auditors.
• Conduct internal audits to assess compliance and effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed Internal Audit Reports and issue Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
• Monitor and follow up on CARs to ensure timely closure.
• Issue CARs to process owners, review Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) submissions, and verify effectiveness.
• Track overdue CARs and ensure preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain internal audit data in centralized databases and perform data analysis.
• Generate insights on audit findings, trends, and system performance.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for Management Review meetings.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on CAR and Problem Reporting System status.
• Lead coordination and preparation for third‑party certification and surveillance audits.
• Act as primary point of contact for external auditors throughout the audit process.
