Finance Officer – Branch Finance Management

About the role

The Finance Officer will lead the Finance Department of a business unit, ensuring accurate financial recording, compliance, and performance analysis for the branch. This role supports both branch and functional operations while driving profitability and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Document and record all vehicle and after‑sales transactions to guarantee accurate revenue booking and receivable collection.
• Oversee daily cash collections, disbursements, and cash counts, ensuring proper accountability.
• Manage non‑revenue costs, CAPEX, and insurance expenses within budget.
• Implement finance and operational policies to establish internal controls.
• Coordinate inventory and asset counts with Accounting.
• Present monthly financial statements to OpsCom and provide performance analysis.
• Monitor accounts receivable, aiming to reduce overdue balances over 60 days.
• Verify compliance with LGU, BIR, and other regulatory bodies; manage permits and tax payments.
• Provide profitability analysis for vehicle transactions and support branch operations.
• Lead process improvements and system alignment for standardization and cost efficiency.
• Guide direct reports, foster productivity, and maintain a supportive workplace.

Required profile

• Finance‑related degree.
• 4‑5 years experience in branch finance.
• Strong knowledge of retail business operations.
• People‑management, communication, leadership, and administration abilities.
• Business acumen, financial analysis, process excellence, analytic reasoning, attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and risk‑management skills.
