Accounting and Finance Internship – Hybrid

About the role

This 12‑week internship (early June – late September) offers hands‑on experience across multiple accounting functions, including corporate accounting, segment accounting, FP&A, and internal audit. Interns report directly to team leaders and gain visibility with senior finance leadership while receiving technical, soft‑skill, and on‑the‑job training.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations, monitor daily cash activities, and support month‑end close processes.
• Contribute to consolidation and intercompany elimination, SEC reporting support (10Ks, 10Qs, earnings releases), and preparation of reports using Excel, OneStream, or similar ERP tools.
• Maintain FP&A templates, coordinate data requests, and participate in process‑improvement projects.
• Assist with audit readiness visits, remediation of findings, and special projects as needed.

Required profile

• Completed at least two major accounting subjects with a minimum grade of 90% (or equivalent) and an overall weighted average of at least 90%.
• Intent to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working on team projects.
• Curious mindset that proactively seeks understanding and feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of ERP or reporting systems such as OneStream.
