Translation Project Manager (US Hours, Remote)

About the role

MED PLANET, a Lyon-based fieldwork agency and wholly owned subsidiary of M3 Inc., provides data collection and high-quality translations and transcriptions for healthcare fieldwork projects. It is looking for a Translation Project Manager who works on US hours in a remote setting. The role manages several language-related projects at once, keeping them on time, within scope and to quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several language-related projects simultaneously, working with the project management team and language professionals to keep clients informed of progress and status.
• Plan, execute and monitor projects using project management tools, and maintain project schedules and timelines aligned with SLAs and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress, challenges and successes throughout each project.
• Maintain project documentation such as project plans, reports and communications using document management software such as SharePoint.
• Prepare quotes and invoices using project management and accounting software.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures, identify errors and areas for improvement and report them to stakeholders.
• Support meetings by taking notes and distributing minutes and action items to the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, management or language studies.
• 2 or more years of experience managing localisation projects.
• Essential fluency in English; an additional language is an advantage.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and work under pressure.
