Tax & Accounting Supervisor (Hybrid, San Pedro)

About the role

HMB Tax Firm is seeking a Tax & Accounting Supervisor to lead a portfolio of SME clients in a hybrid work environment. This position offers the chance to deepen technical expertise while mentoring junior staff and delivering high‑quality advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of small‑ and medium‑enterprise (SME) clients.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor Junior Accountants and other accounting staff.
• Handle complex tax, BIR, and accounting matters, ensuring compliance with Philippine regulations.
• Review financial statements, tax returns, and related compliance documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate BIR tax filing and regulatory compliance.
• Provide accounting and tax guidance to clients and support the delivery of advisory services.

Required profile

• CPA or experienced tax/accounting professional.
• Public accounting or tax‑firm experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, PFRS, and BIR regulations.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation and tax compliance.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or Engagement‑In‑Charge experience is an advantage.
