Finance On-the-Job Trainee Internship

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, highly analytical Finance Intern to join our team. You will gain comprehensive, hands‑on experience in financial analysis, core accounting operations, accounts payable, and tax support while working closely with senior accountants and the finance manager.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable: review, code, and enter vendor invoices, perform 3‑way matching, and assist with bi‑monthly payment runs and vendor reconciliations.
• Support tax compliance: prepare schedules for quarterly/annual filings, collect and verify vendor tax forms, and conduct routine tax research on local regulations.
• Assist financial analysis: analyze statements, build basic financial models, track performance against budgets, and highlight variances.
• Manage data and improve processes: clean and structure financial datasets, support monthly close and KPI reporting, and identify automation opportunities for AP and tax documentation.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Solid foundation in core accounting principles and basic tax concepts.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical reasoning, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic financial functions).
• Familiarity with accounting/ERP systems such as SAP (strong plus).
