Software Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer at Xerox, you will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that power Xerox products and business operations. You will work in a collaborative, innovation‑driven environment, leveraging modern development tools, cloud technologies, and AI‑assisted techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Analyze and resolve software design, functionality, and performance issues.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and system designs.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across multiple platforms.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Utilize AI‑assisted development tools and generative AI techniques to improve productivity and code quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Java, Groovy, and the Spring Framework.
• Proven full‑stack development experience, covering front‑end, back‑end, and database technologies.
• Understanding of Object‑Oriented Design and Programming principles.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
