Sector Accountant – CPA (Onsite in Angono)

About the role

The Sector Accountant joins Meralco’s Sector Accounting Team to develop and document policies, procedures and controls that ensure consistent resolution of finance‑related issues. This position supports residential customer cash‑advance and construction‑aid contributions, prepares internal and external reports, and monitors project settlements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain account information and financial data for residential cash‑advance and construction‑aid contributions.
• Prepare and submit internal and external financial reports.
• Monitor completed projects, ensuring timely settlement to final assets or cost centers.
• Draft user‑requirement documents for system enhancements.
• Handle incident reports, data inquiries, and support KPI monitoring for staff productivity.
• Track system metrics to meet effort and volume capacity targets.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred; fresh graduates may also apply.
• Knowledge of taxation is an advantage.
• Strong orientation toward controls and customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and effective corporate communication skills.
• Willingness to work onsite at Meralco’s Rizal Sector (Angono, Rizal).
