Rebate Analyst I

About the role

The Rebate Analyst I is responsible for the day‑to‑day execution of rebate and chargeback processes, ensuring accurate claim validation, timely payouts, and insightful reporting to support Sales, Pricing, and Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Review agreements to confirm correct customer/product setup and eligibility.
• Validate and resolve rebate claims within 30 days of receipt, investigating disputes and reconciling discrepancies.
• Communicate claim status to customers and coordinate with internal teams for accurate processing.
• Manage upload and verification of chargeback requests in line with policy.
• Review order, quote, and invoice details in Oracle, Salesforce, or Altra and apply SPA pricing compliance.
• Maintain a repository of chargeback statistics, manage the shared mailbox, and deliver monthly/quarterly performance reports.
• Partner with Sales, Pricing, Finance, and Customer Service on special projects and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Management or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in chargeback/rebate processing, pricing, or financial operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• ERP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle).
• CRM experience (Salesforce).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word.
• Familiarity with SQL Server; knowledge of Alteryx is a plus.
