QA Equipment Engineer – Calibration & Inspection

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented QA Equipment Engineer to manage, calibrate, and maintain the measuring equipment used in Incoming, Process, and Outgoing Quality Control (IQC, PQC, OQC). The role ensures that all instruments deliver accurate results, supporting our quality assurance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control QA measuring equipment across IQC, PQC, and OQC inspection processes.
• Monitor calibration status, maintain schedules, and coordinate internal or external calibration activities.
• Document calibration certificates, verification results, and equipment status to guarantee only verified instruments are used.
• Oversee the equipment lifecycle, including registration, maintenance, repair, and replacement.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain continuous inspection capability.
• Coordinate with external calibration providers and equipment suppliers as needed.
• Assist with basic programming and setup of measurement systems such as CMM and OMM.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions for measurement and calibration processes.
• Provide training to inspectors and engineers on equipment use, measurement techniques, and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in quality engineering, metrology, or inspection equipment management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with IQC, PQC, and OQC inspection processes.
• Background in calibration control and measuring instrument maintenance.

Required skills

• Calibration of measurement equipment.
• Use of CMM/OMM systems (e.g., KEYENCE, Mitutoyo).
• Development of SOPs and technical documentation.
• Basic programming/setup of measurement systems.
