Information Security Officer

About the role

The Information Security Officer will lead the design, testing, and implementation of security technologies to protect the company’s information, network systems, and applications. This role works closely with business units to assess risks, respond to incidents, and promote security awareness across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, test, and deploy network security and protection technologies.
• Review and analyze security incident response activities and conduct technical investigations.
• Identify vulnerabilities, assign severity ratings, and perform risk assessments.
• Communicate risks and mitigation strategies to business lines.
• Support company‑wide security awareness programs and train information owners.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve security issues.
• Triage customer requests, apply playbook solutions, and assist engineers in incident verification.
• Respond to security incidents, perform forensics, and conduct root‑cause analyses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), CERT, or Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Extensive background in network security monitoring, packet analysis, and host/server forensics.
• Prior experience with SIEM platforms and security tooling.
