About the role
The Information Security Officer will protect the organization’s information assets by developing and enforcing security policies, monitoring network activity, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Bacolod, Philippines and works closely with IT teams to mitigate risks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits, assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with IT teams to investigate and resolve security incidents.
- Provide security awareness training for employees.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and industry standards such as ISO 27001.
Required profile
- Proven experience in information security or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
