About the role
We are looking for a proactive Information Security Officer to protect our organization’s data assets. The role is based in Bacolod, Philippines and requires on‑site presence to work closely with our IT teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security issues.
- Provide security awareness training for employees.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in information security or a related field.
- In‑depth knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 or similar security frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
