Human Resources Generalist

About the role

The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive support across all HR functions, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, recruitment, and training. This role ensures HR policies are effectively communicated and applied, helping to maintain a positive workplace environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and deliver HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Communicate and interpret HR policies to staff and management.
• Identify and resolve employee relations issues.
• Coordinate administration of mandatory and company‑sponsored benefit programs.
• Analyze wages and salaries, and prepare job descriptions.
• Manage the approval process and advertising of open positions.
• Interview candidates, check references, extend job offers, and conduct orientations.
• Assist management in identifying special training needs.
• Maintain and process employment and benefits records and generate related reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in HR or a related field.
• Working knowledge of local employment legislation.
• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs occasionally and sit for extended periods.
• Consistent attendance.
