HR Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support end‑to‑end human resources functions for a multinational pharmaceutical company in the Philippines. The role will ensure HR practices comply with local labour laws and company policies while fostering a positive employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment: source candidates, screen applications, conduct interviews and coordinate job offers.
• Partner with hiring managers on manpower planning and organisational staffing needs.
• Serve as primary HR contact for employee inquiries, discipline cases and grievance handling in line with the Code of Conduct and Philippine labour law.
• Administer employee benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG, HMO, leaves) and support payroll inputs, salary reviews and benefits benchmarking.
• Ensure statutory compliance, government remittances and reporting to DOLE.
• Maintain accurate employee records in both physical and digital formats, update HRIS data and generate regular HR reports.
• Support learning and development activities, training logistics and onboarding sessions.
• Oversee exit processes, conduct exit interviews and analyse attrition trends.

Required profile

• Relevant HR experience in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential matters.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple HR processes simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
