District Sales Manager

About the role

The District Sales Manager will oversee local and regional sales activities, promotions, and campaigns. This role includes planning hiring and training of new sales associates, managing budgets, and serving as the face of the organization to partners.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all sales activities locally and regionally.
• Prepare sales budgets, projections and approve expenditures.
• Track and analyze sales statistics using key quantitative metrics.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints.
• Set discount rates, price schedules and sales quotas.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and identify emerging markets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• At least five (5) years of experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in trucks, heavy equipment, oils, tires, or batteries industry.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
• Proven ability to communicate, present and influence at all organizational levels.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
