DevOps Engineer – Level 2 (Cloud & Automation)

About the role

The DevOps Engineer 2 will join the Platform Engineering team to design, deploy and automate cloud infrastructure and applications. Working under moderate guidance, you will help ensure rapid delivery while maintaining stability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in analysis, design, deployment and automation of infrastructure and application solutions.
• Support platform administration, optimization and routine tasks such as patching and user access management.
• Configure and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Provision basic cloud resources on AWS and Azure under guidance.
• Write simple automation scripts in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Monitor system health using tools like CloudWatch or Dynatrace and troubleshoot incidents.
• Document processes, configurations and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in DevOps or a related engineering role.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.
• Motivated to learn emerging technologies and grow in cloud and automation.

Required skills

• Python, Bash, PowerShell scripting.
• AWS and Azure services.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Container basics (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform).
• Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Dynatrace).
