IT Support Engineer

About the role

Tarro is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site or remote technical assistance to end‑users across its restaurant‑focused SaaS ecosystem. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software and networking issues, and ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, printers and scanners.
• Install and configure hardware, operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS) and software applications.
• Respond to support tickets via phone, email and chat, meeting agreed SLA targets.
• Escalate critical incidents to higher‑tier support and coordinate with IT vendors.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, manage onboarding/off‑boarding device provisioning, and document standard procedures.
• Assist with deployments of MDM, endpoint protection, and participate in office relocations or network upgrades.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in operations or production support.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows and macOS environments.
• Basic network administration (WAN, LAN, DNS, DHCP) and familiarity with tools such as ssh, ping, telnet and traceroute.
• Experience with ITAM, MDM, Google Workspace and Jira ticketing systems.
• Ability to work night shifts, off‑hours and weekends when required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
