Business Development Executive (US Market)

About the role

LANEX is seeking a Business Development Executive to support its expansion in the US market. Based in Cebu City, you will work closely with a US‑based business development leader to identify and qualify new opportunities, build relationships with prospects, and prepare qualified deals for closing.

Key responsibilities

• Research and build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, referrals and industry databases.
• Maintain accurate prospect and activity records in the CRM system.
• Execute outbound outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, phone and other approved channels.
• Initiate conversations, schedule discovery calls and nurture early‑stage opportunities.
• Participate in discovery meetings to understand client objectives, challenges and staffing needs.
• Document business and project requirements, identify relevant service offerings and prepare proposals.
• Coordinate with technical teams to develop solutions and advance qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Enjoys building relationships and uncovering business needs.
• Comfortable conducting discovery meetings and gathering detailed client requirements.
• Proactive in researching prospects and managing outreach activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with technical teams.
• Will not be the primary closer but will own opportunity development.
