Brand PR Officer

About the role

The Brand PR Officer supports MR.DIY's branding, PR and consumer storytelling agenda, aiming to strengthen brand relevance, top‑of‑mind awareness and equity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the manager in applying brand positioning, key messages and guidelines across marketing initiatives and ensure consistency in consumer‑facing materials.
• Coordinate with creative, campaign and digital teams to translate brand messages across channels and develop brand‑building toolkits.
• Plan and execute brand PR programs, manage press materials, media outreach and maintain media lists, PR trackers and coverage reports.
• Identify consumer stories that generate earned media coverage and work with external PR partners as needed.
• Support product‑led storytelling, collaborate with campaigns and digital to enhance brand narratives.
• Track brand, PR and earned‑media performance metrics, consolidate results and assist in post‑activity reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including trade marketing, insights, and analytics to ensure integrated brand initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in brand marketing, PR, communications or content marketing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with good consumer orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, interpret basic performance data and translate learnings into action.
• Organized, detail‑conscious, collaborative and curious learner.

Required skills

• Understanding of brand building and consumer communications.
• Experience working with PR agencies, media or influencers (advantageous).
