Automation Engineer – Factory Equipment & Process Automation

About the role

Advanced Energy is seeking an Automation Engineer to drive the enhancement and innovation of factory equipment and assembly processes. You will work on cutting‑edge automation solutions to help the company achieve world‑class automated manufacturing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate, sustain, maintain, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing processes.
• Connect equipment and machines to IoT platforms using Sysmac PLC.
• Program, integrate, and troubleshoot robots and PLC systems.
• Support Etrace tracking system lines.
• Create, edit, and troubleshoot smart‑screwing and glider programs.
• Set up in‑house and outsourced automated equipment, handling both electrical and software integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanization or automation within the electronics or semiconductor industry.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑cultural teams and demonstrate leadership qualities.
