Associate Accountant - Master Data Management

About the role

The Associate Accountant – Master Data Management will ensure the accuracy and integrity of organizational data, create and update master data records, and support data‑related projects across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update master data records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with various departments to standardise data processes and resolve data quality issues.
• Implement and maintain MDM tools, conduct data audits and support data‑related projects.
• Analyse large datasets to identify inconsistencies and communicate discrepancies to stakeholders.
• Assist in audit preparation and ensure compliance with MDM governance documentation.
• Coordinate material and finished product master data setup, validation and periodic maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accountancy or IT‑related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in Master Data Management and general accounting.
• Experience in a BPO or shared‑service environment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience (SAP or S/4 HANA preferred).
• Data analysis, data migration and data conversion processes.
• Master Data Management (MDM) tools and governance.
