Accounting & Finance Head (CPA) – 5+ Years Experience – Ortigas

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Finance Head to lead our finance function in Ortigas. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on operational execution, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and finance operations, including general ledger, reporting, and internal controls.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and board‑level summaries.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and long‑range financial plans in partnership with leadership.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning to support business needs.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Coordinate external audits and act as primary contact for auditors and advisors.
• Identify financial risks and implement controls to protect company assets.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and finance system enhancements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
• Significant senior‑level experience in accounting or finance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Deep understanding of accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross‑functional stakeholder relationships.
• Advanced analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive audiences.
