Account Manager – Telecom Solutions

About the role

The Ascent Account Manager will drive profitable business growth for Ericsson by engaging strategically with telecom customers, selling end‑to‑end solutions, and managing relationships proactively. The role requires a strong commercial mindset, deep telecom market knowledge, and the ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Secure short‑term and long‑term profitable business through proactive business development based on a solid understanding of customers’ operations and objectives.
• Mobilise internal resources to deliver efficient end‑to‑end solutions and ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations.
• Develop and nurture internal and external relationships that contribute to both customer success and Ericsson’s growth.
• Focus on selling specific portfolio segments, technology areas, or defined geographies.
• Maximise customer loyalty through consistent engagement, value delivery, and creation of new revenue‑generating opportunities.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in the telecom industry.
• Consultative selling skills with a strong commercial understanding.
• Ability to analyse market and customer insights and negotiate effectively.
• Innovative, results‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
