Senior Supply Planner – Telecommunications

About the role

The Senior Supply Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the right products, capacity and inventory are available at the right time to meet evolving customer and operational needs in a dynamic telecommunications environment.

Key responsibilities

• Stabilise supply execution across constraints and demand shifts, lead prioritisation and escalation management.
• Define inventory, allocation, safety‑stock and replenishment strategies to optimise service, DSI, OTIF and inventory trade‑offs.
• Align supply‑chain, fulfilment, procurement, manufacturing and sales operations and lead supply response during shortages and transitions.
• Scale supply‑planning models, KPI frameworks and ERP/MRP optimisation; drive operational risk visibility and analytics.
• Strengthen planning data governance, lead automation and AI‑ready planning capabilities.
• Improve fulfilment responsiveness, inventory health and operational efficiency; reduce ageing inventory and order‑to‑cash cost.
• Lead planning scalability and workflow simplification; define future‑state supply‑planning capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply‑chain management or related discipline; APICS/ASCM certification a plus.
• 8+ years of supply‑planning, inventory or master‑scheduling leadership in manufacturing/electronics environments.
• Proven experience with ERP/MRP optimisation, supply analytics and KPI management.
• Executive‑level communication and cross‑functional influence.

Required skills

• ERP/MRP systems – preferably Oracle.
• Statistical forecasting.
• Advanced Excel.
• SQL or database reporting.
• Power BI (preferred).
• Rapid Response or equivalent planning platforms (preferred).
