Account Manager - Canada

About the role

EY is hiring an Account Manager (AM) in Taguig, Philippines, focused on the Canada market. The AM drives account growth strategies, acts as a central point of contact for global team connectivity and serves as a trusted advisor and subject-matter resource on the account within the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Suggest and execute action plans to accelerate account growth strategies with global account leadership
• Co-facilitate semi-annual account planning and quarterly acceleration sessions
• Advocate for sector strategies and priority service offerings, and activate curated solutions and managed services
• Foster internal firm relationships so operational matters are routed appropriately
• Promote the use of in-house technologies and firm tools for relationship mapping, white spot analysis and innovation
• May manage select client relationships such as Procurement or Vendor Relations
• Collaborate across functions to improve client experience and engagement
• Project manage key deal pursuits and co-develop account onboarding for new leaders and team members
• Act as a change agent for digital tools and process adoption

Required profile

• 10+ years in a professional services firm; sales enablement experience preferred
• Internal or external consulting experience preferred, especially in a global matrixed organization
• Proven success leading complex projects with minimal supervision
• Sector-relevant focus (life sciences, technology, wealth management, consumer, energy, etc.) is a plus

Required skills

• Executive-level communication and consultative skills, strong networking and emotional intelligence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
• Analysis and presentation creation, basic understanding of financial reporting tools
• Desirable: negotiation with internal stakeholders, Microsoft BI, and sales/account management tools
