Supply Planning Specialist (Makati City)

About the role

Arla Foods Corporation is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist to develop and execute supply plans that align inventory availability with forecasted customer demand in Makati City. The role focuses on optimizing product availability while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling supply plans and inventory projections by analyzing demand forecasts, inventory levels, supply constraints, and replenishment requirements.
• Coordinate review and approval processes with relevant stakeholders and place purchase or replenishment orders in a timely manner.
• Track supplier or dairy order confirmations and work with Global Customer Service, source markets, or dairies on order exceptions, quantity deviations, date changes, and substitutions.
• Assess supply feasibility for new product launches, phase‑in/phase‑out, customer samples, local buy‑back requirements, and other special orders, considering lead time, source availability, shelf life, logistics, and minimum quantities.
• Maintain visibility of incoming shipments, update supply plans based on schedule or quantity changes, and proactively identify and escalate risks related to stock availability, inventory health, capacity constraints, and customer service performance.
• Prepare and reconcile in‑transit, open‑order, and month‑end supply data and reports, ensuring accurate inputs and timely coordination with Finance and cross‑functional teams for financial close and business planning.
• Ensure compliance with supply planning policies, controls, and audit requirements while driving continuous improvements in planning, ordering, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply planning or a closely related function.
