Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will join the Purchasing team to validate purchase requisitions, convert them into purchase orders, and ensure smooth communication with internal customers and suppliers. This role supports daily management activities and continuous improvement initiatives within a global, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Validate purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement guidelines.
• Process requisitions into purchase orders, release to vendors, and monitor order status.
• Handle purchase order changes, cancellations, and respond to internal and supplier inquiries.
• Create and maintain documentation for purchasing processes and identify recurring errors.
• Support daily management and continuous improvement activities, applying problem‑solving skills to resolve PR‑related issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Procurement Buyer, preferably in a shared service center.
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience using Oracle and Ariba procurement platforms.
• Fluency in English.
