Quality Control Technician II

About the role

Advanced Energy is seeking a Quality Control Technician II to support its semiconductor and industrial manufacturing operations. The role focuses on gathering and analyzing quality data, driving corrective actions, and ensuring continuous improvement of product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze quality data; initiate proactive corrective actions.
• Lead Yield/OATF and QIP meetings and support the Quality Engineer.
• Release and review Purging Notices, Quality Alerts, MRB, RMA, ECO, ePBR LRS, and WIS.
• Raise Stop Build/Ship Notices for in‑process issues and follow up root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare regular quality reports (Yield/OATF) and support NPI handover.
• Review and revise quality plans; work with transfer teams on product qualification.
• Generate, maintain, and submit TL9000 and other certification data.
• Verify corrective and containment actions through spot audits.

Required profile

• College degree in Engineering or Science (preferred).
• At least 1 year of technical work experience.
• Training in Basic Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), basic problem‑solving techniques, reliability and risk assessment, and 8D/RCCA generation.
