IT Support Officer – User & Engineering Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to deliver user‑facing technical assistance both on‑site and remotely. You will be the first point of contact for software and hardware issues across the organization and will also support engineering teams with equipment setup and troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for software and hardware problems reported via the ticketing system and other channels.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve routine IT incidents efficiently.
• Set up new workstations, peripherals and network equipment for employees.
• Assist engineering teams in installing, maintaining and troubleshooting on‑site systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Operations, Workforce and MIS to ensure smooth IT operations.

Required profile

• 0‑4 years of experience in a technical support or help‑desk role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong English communication skills (intermediate to advanced).
• Ability to meet strict deadlines, prioritize tasks and handle physical lifting of equipment.
