HR Specialist / Assistant

About the role

The HR Specialist/Assistant will support the HR Supervisor in delivering recruitment, onboarding, and employee‑relations initiatives for Makati Sports Club, Inc. This entry‑level position offers exposure to the full spectrum of HR functions in a dynamic sports‑club environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in talent acquisition and onboarding processes for new hires.
• Maintain and regularly update employee records and HR databases.
• Support performance‑management and employee‑engagement programs.
• Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of staff training programs.
• Monitor daily HR activities (recruitment, training, staffing) against departmental plans.
• Verify attendance, leave, and schedule approvals before payroll encoding.
• Prepare payroll reports and other HR‑related documentation.
• Handle employee complaints and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the HR Supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Entry‑level experience (less than 1 year) or relevant internships.
• Strong communication, presentation, and detail‑orientation.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with a coaching mindset.
