About the role
The HR Officer / HR Generalist will support the Human Resources department in a range of functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. The role ensures that all HR activities align with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Post job advertisements, screen applications, schedule and conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring and onboarding processes.
- Handle employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts, promoting an inclusive work environment and maintaining communication between staff and management.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, prepare contracts, notices, memoranda, and other HR documents, and monitor attendance and leave.
- Identify training needs, organize employee training and development programs, and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist in employee evaluations and performance reviews, monitor performance and disciplinary records, and coordinate implementation of company policies and code of conduct.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and government regulations; assist in preparation, renewal, and monitoring of permits and registrations.
- Coordinate with government agencies regarding inspections, compliance requirements, and documentation, and maintain updated records of permits and licenses.
- Support workplace health and safety compliance programs.
