HR Officer / HR Generalist

About the role

We are looking for an HR Officer/HR Generalist to support a wide range of human‑resource functions and work closely with senior HR management. The role involves managing benefits, employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment and onboarding: post job openings, review resumes, conduct interviews, coordinate hiring processes and facilitate new‑hire orientation.
• Employee relations: serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, address concerns such as harassment or work complaints, conduct investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Benefits administration: manage group health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, disability, life insurance and wellness programs; assist employees with enrollment and issue resolution.
• Performance management: support development and implementation of performance systems, aid managers with appraisals, goal setting, improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Training and development: identify training needs, coordinate programs and assist in employee development initiatives.
• Compliance and policy implementation: ensure adherence to federal, state and local employment laws, maintain HRIS records, prepare compliance reports and communicate company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 3‑5 years of HR experience, preferably within the financial industry.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) for data management and reporting.
