DevOps Engineer 2

About the role

The DevOps Engineer 2 will join Asurion's Platform Engineering team to design, deploy, and automate cloud and infrastructure solutions. Working under moderate guidance, you will help ensure rapid delivery while maintaining stability, security, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in analysis, design, deployment, and automation of infrastructure and application solutions.
• Support platform administration, optimization, and routine tasks such as patching and user access management.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions and write automation scripts.
• Provision basic cloud resources on AWS and Azure under guidance.
• Monitor system health with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or similar tools and troubleshoot incidents.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and share knowledge with the team.
• Participate in on‑call rotation as needed.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in cloud or DevOps environments.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and solve straightforward technical problems.
• Strong desire to learn emerging technologies and improve processes.

Required skills

• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS and Azure.
• Basic CI/CD knowledge and hands‑on experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerization basics (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Monitoring tools experience (CloudWatch, Dynatrace).
