About the role
We are seeking a Country HR Manager to lead the end‑to‑end human resources agenda for our client, a pharmaceutical company operating in the Philippines. Reporting to the country leadership team, you will shape HR strategy, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and foster a people‑centric culture that supports business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Management with a specialization in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 4 years leading HR functions within a pharmaceutical company.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and results‑orientation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and ability to coach employees on people‑related matters.
