Service Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for a Service Associate to join the Food & Beverage team at Shang Palace, the flagship restaurant of Makati Shangri‑La in Manila. In this role you will help deliver a seamless dining experience for our guests, supporting the restaurant’s daily operations and upholding the hotel’s high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the restaurant during each service shift.
• Provide attentive, high‑quality service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the assigned work area.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction and suggest enhancements.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to create an exceptional dining experience.

Required profile

• Passion for food and beverage service and a welcoming attitude toward guests.
• Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
• Previous experience in a luxury restaurant or 5‑star hotel is preferred.
• Curiosity about new culinary trends and a commitment to serving food of the highest quality.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts.
