About the role
The Restaurant Team Leader (Front of House) supports the Manager on Duty in delivering a high‑energy, guest‑focused dining experience. You will supervise FOH staff, ensure fast service and product quality, and drive sales through suggestive selling and loyalty initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Manager on Duty in controlling the floor during peak hours and monitoring guest flow.
- Supervise and coach FOH staff, delegate duties, and ensure the team is prepared for each shift.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly, escalating to the MOD when necessary.
- Drive sales by monitoring servers on promotions, suggestive selling, and loyalty programs.
- Monitor and control use of FOH materials, utilities, and high‑margin items to protect profitability.
- Facilitate training sessions, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as required.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading front‑of‑house teams in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
- Strong ability to resolve guest issues professionally and maintain service standards.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills to develop staff performance.
- Detail‑oriented mindset for managing inventory, utilities, and compliance with safety regulations.
