About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing activities, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while adhering to company policies and budgets.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing, negotiating and procuring goods and services in line with company policies.
- Prepare purchase recommendations, process purchase orders and monitor order status for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as operations, plant, logistics and finance to clarify requirements.
- Support procurement activities related to logistics, CAPEX and OPEX as needed.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and contract documentation.
- Assist in supplier evaluation, accreditation and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets and applicable regulations.
- Support inventory coordination and cost‑control initiatives.
- Perform other procurement‑related tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
- Experience in logistics procurement and/or CAPEX/OPEX sourcing is preferred.
- Relevant procurement or supply‑chain certifications (e.g., CPP, CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience with procurement systems (e.g., ERP purchasing modules).
