Material Planner

About the role

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring a steady supply of imported raw and packaging materials for ice‑cream production. The role includes weekly supply planning, capacity coordination with suppliers, monthly forecasting for procurement, inventory reduction, and supporting on‑time launch of new products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor weekly supply of imported raw and packaging materials.
• Conduct regular capacity planning meetings with suppliers.
• Provide monthly forecasts to procurement to support price negotiations.
• Reduce inventory days on hand and eliminate business waste for unique raw materials.
• Support 100 % on‑time, in‑full launch of new product introductions.
• Resolve payment queries with suppliers promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences (preferably IE graduate).
• 1–2 years of experience in supply chain or material planning.
• Strong understanding of inventory planning concepts.
• Ability to coordinate with cross‑functional departments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with comfort handling large numeric data sets.
• Service‑oriented attitude and quick adaptability to change.
