LBE Maintenance Technician

About the role

As an LBE Maintenance Technician at 2GO Group, you will provide hands‑on technical support for container handling equipment and yard tractors in Zamboanga. Your work will keep critical assets operational, minimise downtime and ensure a safe, reliable logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspections on container handling equipment (CHEs).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services (PMS) on CHEs.
• Repair or replace defective components, assemblies and systems.
• Carry out functional testing after repairs to verify equipment performance.
• Assist in major repairs, component rebuilds and equipment overhauls.
• Maintain accurate service history records for assigned equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and safe at all times.

Required profile

• Graduate of an Automotive course or any vocational/technical school.
• At least 5 years of experience in heavy‑equipment maintenance and repair.
• Experience with container handling, construction, mining or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with strong troubleshooting capability.
• Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
