Finance Director

About the role

We are looking for a strategic, results‑driven Finance Director to lead the financial operations of a fast‑growing, multi‑entity investment and asset management firm. This senior executive will join the leadership team, shaping financial strategy, overseeing treasury and cash management, and ensuring rigorous compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance functions with a focus on treasury, cash management, and liquidity planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis across multiple entities and investment vehicles.
• Ensure timely month‑end close, reconciliations and robust internal controls.
• Partner with executive leadership on long‑term financial strategy, fundraising and capital planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes and automation to increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal and tax advisors to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Support due diligence, investor reporting and fund performance analysis.

Required profile

• CPA or equivalent financial certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in senior finance roles, including at least 3 years in a CFO, VP of Finance or similar capacity.
• Strong expertise in treasury management, cash operations and liquidity planning.
• Experience in fund, real‑estate or private‑equity accounting environments.
• Hands‑on experience with NetSuite (required) and familiarity with Sage Intacct (preferred).
