Farm Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Farm Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment across Aboitiz Foods' farms. This role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance to extend equipment life and support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on farm electrical systems, process controllers, and related equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain wiring, appliances, and fixtures using hand and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctions with test equipment (mega‑ohmmeter, voltmeter, clamp meter) and correct issues.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components; install ground leads and power cables.
• Place conduit and pull insulated wires to complete circuits.
• Monitor electrical load to ensure usage stays within maximum thresholds.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with 5S, ISO 9001, and Kaizen improvement initiatives.
• Provide on‑call support during off‑hours and assist other farm sites (Breeder Farm 2, Nursery Farm 2) as needed.

Required profile

• Willingness to be on‑call outside regular working hours.

• Ability to work independently on farm sites and collaborate with maintenance teams.
