Dialysis Technician

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated Technician to support dialysis operations in a clinical setting. The role involves preparing and maintaining dialysis equipment, ensuring safety and compliance, and assisting nursing staff during treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, rinse, and disinfect dialysis machines and equipment before each treatment.
• Calibrate reprocessing machines at the start of each shift and manage used dialyzers.
• Reprocess, label, and record dialyzers for safe reuse.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on dialysis machines, consulting maintenance records.
• Coordinate repairs with Technical Services and assist in remedy implementation.
• Manage consumable inventory and coordinate stock replenishment.
• Generate progress reports on equipment utilization, maintenance history, and pending repairs.
• Assist nurses with pre‑ and post‑dialysis patient assessments and emergency procedures, including CPR.
• Support the Unit Head in tracking equipment parts delivery and updating maintenance logs.
