DevOps Engineer

About the role

JoyRide is a lean startup looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and drive the development and maintenance of its infrastructure and engineering operations. You will modernize processes, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and work across the entire tech stack while balancing speed, security, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and architecture of software products.
• Develop and ensure platform efficiency and security.
• Design and develop infrastructure and architectural solutions.
• Collaborate with technology leaders and software engineers.
• Stay current with web application and programming language developments.
• Contribute to team culture and product refinement.
• Mentor engineers and help them grow technically.
• Continuously improve internal standards through code reviews and best practices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP.
• Extensive Linux systems configuration experience.
• Experience with networking components such as ELB.
• Familiarity with log, trace monitoring and observability platforms.
• Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of implementing continuous deployment to production.
• Technical lead experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of software development and implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Active learner passionate about technology.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers.
