QA Analyst (Manual & Automation Testing) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a motivated QA Analyst to ensure the reliability, performance, and regulatory compliance of enterprise‑level insurance software, including web portals and telecommunication solutions. The role is fully remote and ideal for candidates who thrive in small, collaborative teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing of user interfaces, APIs, and backend systems.
• Validate telecommunication workflows such as call routing, SMS delivery, and message accuracy.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and severity classification.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with business objectives.
• Participate in sprint planning, ticket specification, and production deployment processes.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
• Validate system performance, scalability, and reliability under varied conditions.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. insurance data‑privacy and communication regulations.
• Support release validation, post‑release verification, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of QA experience on web‑based applications.
• Experience testing customer‑facing web portals and SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with telecommunication testing (IVR, SMS, call flows) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
