Administrator of Engineering & Planning

About the role

The Administrator of Engineering & Planning leads CPP’s engineering team, overseeing electric and civil engineering projects, inspections, and construction activities. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, particularly NERC, while coordinating cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑ and medium‑voltage transmission, distribution, and street‑lighting projects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise environmental and engineering staff, managing project timelines, deliverables, and troubleshooting.
• Directly manage essential transmission and distribution projects and support construction activities.
• Coordinate with customers, utilities, and external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collect, review, and organize NERC compliance documentation and meet all related deadlines.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff, reporting on team status and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business/Public Administration, or related field.
• At least five years of progressive engineering experience with inspection project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
