Trainer (SM Fairview)

About the role

The Trainer will deliver structured training programs to both existing staff and newly hired employees at the SM Fairview site. The role focuses on preparing participants for their core duties while fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver training sessions that engage employees and promote knowledge transfer.
• Use questioning, presentation and facilitation techniques to enhance retention and performance.
• Maintain a trust‑based classroom atmosphere that encourages learning and feedback.
• Assess learner progress with appropriate evaluation tools and provide coaching as needed.
• Mentor apprentice instructors and coordinate training activities across operations, quality and HR.
• Prepare instructional materials and select appropriate methods for various learning styles.
• Coordinate with HR and quality teams to align training content with organizational standards.

Required profile

• At least two years of college education and a minimum of one year experience in a similar training role within a BPO environment.
• Willingness to work on‑site at SM Fairview, Quezon City, on a night shift schedule.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to identify and address training needs.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, time‑critical environment and adapt quickly to changing business processes.
• Flexibility to adjust training plans based on business needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Tableau for data visualization.
